  • Traffic-light morning stiffness check with auto-regression
  • Tempo-guided eccentric metronome
  • 9-Hole round progression (Acute → Sport-Proofing)
  • 3-card daily session: stretch, strength, golf-specific drill
  • Per-exercise pain log and weekly trend chart
  • Physio PDF export
  • Built on consensus heavy-slow-resistance protocol
  • Localized in 6 languages

What makes Golf Elbow Oracle different?

9-Hole round progression

Recovery framed as a 9-Hole round: Acute Phase → Early Rehab → Conditioning → Strength → Sport-Proofing. Each pain-free session is a stroke holed. Hole advancement unlocks more range and course time.

Traffic-light morning calibration

A 30-second stiffness check sets today's load: green = full session, amber = hold steady, red = rest. No more guessing whether to push through.

Tempo-guided eccentrics

Heavy slow resistance only works at the prescribed tempo. An opt-in metronome counts every eccentric so the dose is right when you want it, and stays out of the way when you don't.

3-card daily session

Three exercises per day: one stretch, one strengthening move, one golf-specific drill. Self-paced, no fighting an auto-timer. Difficulty scales from Acute Phase to Sport-Proofing.

Per-exercise pain logging

After each move, log no pain / mild flare / stop. The app folds those signals into your scorecard and adjusts tomorrow's plan automatically.

Pause and resume mid-session

Close the app, walk away, come back. Pick up exactly where you left off.

Who is Golf Elbow Oracle for?

Recreational golfers who have had medial elbow pain for 1+ weeks and want a structured, evidence-based path back to full play. Useful for post-physical-therapy maintenance and prevention work after a playing partner is sidelined with the same injury.

What’s inside Golf Elbow Oracle?

A real week with Golf Elbow Oracle

David plays golf twice a week and has had medial elbow pain for six weeks. He tried resting for two weeks, it came back the first time he gripped a club. Here's what his first week with the app looks like.

Day 1 · Morning check-in

David opens the app and reports today's stiffness: amber. The app holds his load at the Hole 1 baseline, no progression yet, just calibration. His session card shows three exercises: a wrist flexor stretch with a 30-second guided hold, an eccentric wrist flexion at 2 kg on a 4-second lowering tempo, and a grip rehearsal drill at minimal resistance. Total time: 12 minutes.

Day 3 · Green light

Morning stiffness is green. The app advances his load slightly, the eccentric wrist flexion moves to 3 kg. The metronome counts every rep. He logs "mild flare" after the second set. The app notes it, keeps him at that load for tomorrow, and reminds him to ice for 10 minutes post-session.

Day 5 · Red day

Morning stiffness is red, he overdid the gardening yesterday. The app prescribes a rest day: no loading, a gentle passive stretch only. It moves Hole 2 back to Hole 1 on the scorecard. David doesn't have to decide whether to push through. The app made that call.

Week 4 · First round back

By Hole 5, the app has cleared David for a 9-hole walking round at 50% swing effort. He exports his weekly trend chart as a PDF and shows it to his physio at the next appointment. The physio confirms the progression is appropriate. David stores the session note in the app's history.

What Golf Elbow Oracle doesn't do

This app has a defined scope. Knowing where it stops helps you use it correctly, and know when to see a clinician.

Not a medical device or diagnosis tool

Golf Elbow Oracle does not diagnose medial epicondylitis, assess nerve involvement, or rule out other causes of elbow pain. If your pain is severe, bilateral, or comes with neurological symptoms (numbness, tingling), see a doctor before starting any rehab program.

Not for lateral elbow pain

Golf Elbow Oracle is built for medial epicondylitis, pain on the inside of the elbow. If your pain is on the outside (lateral side), that's tennis elbow. The exercises and progressions are different. See Tennis Elbow Oracle instead.

Not a physio replacement

The app applies a consensus heavy-slow-resistance protocol, but it can't palpate your elbow, assess your grip strength, or modify the plan based on a hands-on examination. It's a structured daily companion, most useful alongside, not instead of, professional assessment.

Not a swing coaching tool

The golf-specific drills inside the app are low-load grip and swing-pattern exercises for tendon conditioning. They're not swing analysis or technique coaching. Golf Elbow Oracle gets your elbow ready to handle the load of your swing again, the swing itself is for your PGA pro.

FAQ

What is golfer's elbow and how does the app help?

Golfer's elbow (medial epicondylitis) is a tendinopathy of the medial elbow. The app applies heavy slow resistance with strict eccentric tempo, daily traffic-light calibration, and progressive load over a 12–16 week arc.

Is this a medical device?

No. Golf Elbow Oracle is an educational and self-management tool. Consult a qualified clinician for medical advice.

How is the daily session structured?

Three cards: stretch, strengthening, golf-specific drill. Full-screen card, cues, optional guided timer, "I'm done" button. Self-paced.

Can I keep playing during rehab?

Hole advancement unlocks range and course time. Early holes prioritise calming irritability; later holes layer back specificity and load. The app tells you what's safe today based on your scorecard.

Evidence behind the protocol

Golf Elbow Oracle's daily session follows the consensus management of medial epicondyle tendinopathy: progressive, heavy slow resistance with strict eccentric tempo, calibrated daily to symptoms.
