Mobile Squad is an independent mobile-app studio. We ship a small portfolio of focused Android and iOS apps for athletes, builders, and on-call engineers, five today, and only what we'd use ourselves tomorrow.
We started in 2024 with a frustration: most mobile apps treat your attention and your data as billable resources. We don't. Every release earns its place on a home screen by being faster, more private, and more useful than the default, or it doesn't ship.

Hi, I'm Erwan. I design, build, and ship every app in this portfolio. My background is mobile engineering across Android, iOS, and Wear OS, with a focus on apps that respect attention, work offline, and don't farm user data.
What I write code about: training and gym tracking, rehab protocols for tennis elbow and golfer's elbow, short-buffer video replay for sport, and developer tooling around Firebase. Each app on this site started from a problem I had personally and couldn't solve with what was already on the store.

What we stand for
Privacy by default
Local-first storage. Opt-in sync, encrypted in transit. No ad SDKs, no data brokers, no data sold. Aggregate analytics (GA4) only, for site traffic.
Pay once where possible
Where the business model allows it, premium is a one-time unlock. Subscriptions only when there's recurring server-side cost.
One job, well done
Every app does one thing. No upsell modals, no dark patterns, no notification spam.
How we work
- Android-first, iOS close behind. Most apps ship on Google Play first; iOS follows once the experience is right.
- Six languages from day one. English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese.
- Released, not launched. Updates land when they're ready, not on a marketing calendar.
- Feedback in the open. Every release responds to in-app feedback and store reviews; bug reports get triaged.
- Free knowledge alongside the apps. We publish research-backed guides on elbow rehab and training and free interactive tools, no download or signup required.
